  1. Dear Madeleine,
why does Goddess Yanara has 12 concubines?
Why kissing Her shoes 12 times?
Why kissing the ground in front of Her 12 times?
    Why 12?

  2. hello Foot-Smother,
thank you for your comment. Although the number 12 appears so many times in my blog, you seem the first to notice it.
The answer is not simple, and I am seriously thinking of publishing a new page concerning this sacred number 12.
The ancient Egyptians were using the decimal system, but 12 was the number of perfection for many reasons. Please see my blog for more info (coming soon).

  3. Thank's so far!
It's just because I'm writing a story (or at least I try to do so ;-) about 13 girls: 12 become your concubines, 1 becomes a slave-girl. So now: why?
(btw.: I posted the comments for "The litter"-story; from now on I'll post as "Foot-Smother")
